SJM Dental College & Hospital, Chitradurga

The college has well  designed buildings for teaching administration and hospital purposes. It has a rich logistic infrastructure to ensure best teaching and learning  environment. Indoor and out door sports building is provided to keep the students and staff physically fit. Hospital is made to function as required according to the norms of MCI and RGUHS. No stone is left unturned to recruit and motivate the teaching and non teaching faculty both at college and in the hospital.

Each department of the college is spaciously designed to accommodate students in practical halls, seminar rooms and departmental library. Each department is provided with Audio Visual Equipment like LCD Projector, OHP, TV, DVD Player and Slide Projector etc., to make learning process easy and interesting. In addition where ever necessary Close Circuit Television facility is provided to teach the student in a unique way. 

Lecture halls are well equipped with latest audio visual equipment. In addition there are department wise seminar halls and demonstration rooms with audio visual equipments to train the students better.

There is a separate Examination Hall fitted  with Close Circuit Cameras and Internet, Photocopy facility to conduct Online Examination as per RGUHS, Bangalore norms.    

Library and Information Centre

The Central Library provides referencing and information service through out the year and supports students in their academic development and offer effective search strategies. It has worth collection of reference books of recent editions, national and international journals, magazines, medical and health sciences' literature, video cassettes and CD ROMs. The library also provides Electronic - both online ( HELINET) and offline resources.

The college possesses good transportation facility. It owns and operates …… number of buses, ambulance and mini four wheelers for the purpose of catering to various needs of students, staff, college and hospital patients. Motor vehicle transportation department of the college takes care of the maintenance of these vehicles.
